The Terminal A-B-C-D Rome Airport Parking Lots
The vast, multi-story car parks of Fiumicino Airport handle the vast majority of the FCO passengers’ parking needs (at least the short-term). With a total of 3500 parking spots (not including the car rental area), the four buildings (Buildings A, B, C, and D) are multi-level and offer covered parking spaces, with the exception of their top floor, which is open (and therefore, much more affordable). All the Rome Terminal Car Parks are equipped with LED signs on all their floors indicating the number of empty spots, and placeholders, helping travelers find their parking space. In general terms, Buildings A and B serve T1 passengers and Buildings C and D travelers departing from T3. All buildings are within a few-minute walking distance from the terminals’ doors, linked to the terminal buildings via moving walkways.
In-advance bookings for the multi-story Terminal ABCD Car Parks can be made via phone or online. Online reservations usually save customers money. For instance, a one-day stay costs 30.70€/33.70$ if paid on the spot and 29.40€/32.20$ if reserved online. Payments of all kinds can be made in the automatic machines or the customer desks. However, the automatic payment stations at the exits of the Terminal ABCD Parkings accept payments via a credit or debit card.
The Long-Stay Fiumicino Airport Parking
FCO passengers looking for a long-term parking option will find both covered and open parking spaces for their vehicles. Thus, the more affordable Uncovered Long-Term Parking Lot offers 2100 parking spots, whereas the Covered Parking Garage (the so-called “Green” Car Park, as its ceiling is covered with photovoltaic panels) has 1700 parking spaces. A free airport shuttle service links the long-term parking facilities to the two Rome airport terminals. Hence, the Parking Shuttle runs around the clock, at a 5-minute frequency, and needs less than 10 minutes to reach its destination. However, from 01:00 am to 05:00 am, it has available routes every 15 minutes, and from 01:00 am to 04:00 am, it operates upon request via intercoms.
It is always recommended to book online. Verily, online reservations offer lower rates. Overall, if you park your car at the Long-Term Parking Lot for one day, you can expect to pay around 14€-15€/15.30$-16.40$ (12€-13€/13.10$-14.20$ if booked online). Please note that the automatic machines at the exits of the car park accept payments via a debit or credit card.

Moreover, you’ll be offered coffee and a newspaper. As an easy Parking Executive customer, you can also benefit from a 10% discount on certain bars and restaurants and the Aelia duty-free zone, and a 5%-15% discount on a selection of shops lying in the Boarding zones A and E. Additionally, if you are willing to pay an extra fee, you can have your car washed or refilled. The Executive Parking in T1 lies at the Arrivals level and has a capacity of 100 parking spots, whereas the Executive Car Park in T3 is on the third floor of the Building D of Terminal ABCD Parking and has 80 parking spots. Expectedly, the Executive Parking facilities are the most expensive alternative when it comes to parking at Fiumicino Airport. For example, a 24-hour stay costs approximately 35€/38.40$.
Our Tip: The T1 Executive Parking has a designated area for motorbikes as well. However, it is currently out of operation.

If you have to pick up your loved ones or drop them off, you’ll find several options to wait for them or say goodbye properly. Thus, you can head to the Kiss&Go area and stay for an up-to-15-minute time out of charge.
